– Paul Bastard for his Michelson Philanthropies & Science Award in Immunology on February 25, 2022;

– Pr Alain Fischer who was awarded the gold medal of the Ernst Jung Prize for Medicine on May 13, 2022;

– Dr Anne Morice who was granted the Dagnan-Bouveret Prize of the French Academy of Sciences on October 19, 2022;

– Prof. Laurent Abel who received the Grand Prize 2022 from the Foundation for Medical Research on November 29, 2022; and

– Dr. Céline Greco who won the first Axel Kahn “Pain and Cancer” Prize on December 14, 2022, supported by the Ligue contre le cancer.

The Institut Imagine, with its researchers, has also published more than 1,000 scientific articles along the year 2022.

]]> On this International Rare Diseases Day of February 28th, 2022, Institut Imagine is proud to share its progress in gene therapy: after 50 years of research and 20 years of clinical development, the first successes for 12 genetic diseases. It is not a matter of replacing the mutant (or “sick”) genes but of correcting them to eliminate only the genetic anomaly.
